

INGREDIENTS:
1 (2 lbs.) chuck roast
salt
pepper
water
FOR SAUCE:
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp paprika
3 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup vinegar
1/4 margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
Preheat oven at 375°.
Put the roast in a dutch oven, season with salt and pepper and add water, cover tightly and cook for about 2 hours, shred while warm.
In a medium size saucepan melt the butter and add the chopped onion, cook until transparent. Add ketchup, water, vinegar, worcestershire sauce and stir well, stir in the rest of the dry ingredients.
Add the shredded beef to the sauce and heat through.
Serve in hamburger buns.
